Among his many accomplishments are founding Phyton, Inc. the company that produces the blockbuster, cancer-fighting drug Taxol. He has also led companies that developed aircraft safety products and innovative replacements for chemical pesticides. In 1996, Rus was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
